The Nantucket Tartan™ | The Original Tartan of Nantucket
The Scottish Register of Tartans Ref. 15087
The pattern of the Nantucket Tartan™ nods to the elements from the Barclay clan, honoring Robert Barclay, the Scottish Quaker who famously testified to Parliment in 1774 about the vital importance of Nantucket's whale oil to the British Empire.
Its colors are inspired by the details that give the island character:
Woven in lambswoll by an indpendent mill in the Scottish Borders. 2-ply premium yarn.
