After settling on Nantucket as their perfect nuptial destination, Jennifer & Douglas crafted a classically preppy bash worthy of their coastal locale.
As they enjoyed a beachside lunch at Topper's Restaurant at The Wauwinet, they immediately knew it was where they would say "I do." They incorporated a clean palette of pink accents against navy and white, coming together as nautical stripes on everything from the blushing bouquet's ribbon to straws in classic Ball jars used for swanky cocktails. After an intimate ceremony surrounded by starfish embellishments and only their closest family overlooking the harbor, the bride — carrying a navy and white anchor clutch that held her grandparents' handkerchiefs and love letters — lead loved ones to a celebration awash with seaside whimsy. Tablescapes blossomed with fresh florals cascading from sailor-striped centerpieces and navy string tying white lifesavers to ivory linens for more nautical flair. A simple cake dotted with white frosting and another crisp, navy and white ribbon was beautifully adorned with fresh blue-hued hydrangeas.

We have some exciting news here atMurray’s Toggery Shop, home of the originalNantucket Reds Collection! We started a major renovation this winter to transform our Ladies' and Children's department. While it’s true that nowadays people like to shop online, it doesn’t mean that brick-and-mortar stores are completely out-of-style. We still get a high volume of customers, not only in the summer, but also in the off-season, and we decided that this is a perfect year to give our customers better in-store shopping experience, as we celebrate our 75th anniversary!
